SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to method and device of display lighting. The display lighting device includes light-emitting diodes, lenses or reflectors, light-diffusing substrate, at that each lens or reflector is in the plane of light-diffusing substrate, emission from diodes is redirected by lenses or reflectors to the surface of light-diffusing substrate in order to ensure lighting of the display; moreover each lens or reflector has the same working surface represented as revolving surface with symmetry axis matching the straight line along which the evenly lighted section is formed.

EFFECT: improvement of light performance of displays such as efficiency, lighting uniformity as well as usage of lenses or reflectors of simple shape and reduction of dimensions.
