FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and can be used for root canal filling, as well as for fixation of permanent dentures and other orthopaedic apparatuses and for using the declared material as filling substrate for pulp protection against external irritants. What is presented is a filling material representing a modification of commercial zinc silicate phosphate or zinc phosphate cement, wherein grouting fluid contains castor oil and ethanol in the following proportions, wt %: grouting fluid - 60-80%; castor oil - 1-2%, ethanol - the rest, whereas the charge stock additionally contains phenol-formaldehyde resin, polyvinylbutyral resin, white resin and dibutyl phthalate in the following proportions, wt %: phenol-formaldehyde resin - 1-3%, polyvinylbutyral resin - 5-8%, white resin - 0.5-2%, dibutyl phthalate - 1-4%, furnace charge - the rest. Besides, the filling material can contain up to 5% additive substances, such as pigments, biocide and adhesive additives, the ingredients stabilising the composition or improving the adhesive properties.

EFFECT: using the modified filling material increases the filling quality, particularly increases the cement adhesion to the tooth material, as well as its resistance to temperature change and improves the post-filling root canal isolation.
