FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in endodontic treatment. In the process of endodontic treatment, upon completion of mechanical and medical treatment of the root canal system, permanent obturation of the intra-root space with a bioceramic sealer and gutta-percha is performed. Root canal is thoroughly dried with the help of absorbent pins. After selection and fitting of master pin, its preliminary processing is performed, which is ensured by vertical immersion of a gutta-percha point in 10% colophony in chloroform for 3-5 seconds, followed by spraying a homogeneous layer of microcrystalline calcium-phosphate bioceramic on the softened surface layer of gutta-percha. Intra-root space is filled with bioceramic sealer by means of syringe and intracanal nozzle with subsequent introduction of bioceramic gutta-percha point (filler) to working length of root canal. Then, excess gutta-percha is cut off in the tooth cavity at the mouth of the canal with a thermal plugger, and X-ray control of the filling is performed.

EFFECT: method, by modifying the gutta-percha points with bioceramic nanoparticles, improves the filling quality of the root canal system and creates a tight monolithic root filling.
