INHALER DEVICE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61M11/00 A61M15/00

Abstract RU 2796909 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to variants of an inhaler device. In the first variant, the device comprises an activating mechanism having an indexing system for advancing the medicinal product carrier, containing a base with medicinal product blisters and a removable cover sheet covering the blisters. The mechanism includes an opening system for removing the cover sheet from the medicinal product carrier for opening the blister and a common actuator for the indexing system and the opening system. The common actuator is movable between the first position and the second position through an intermediate position. The advancement of the opening system is disproportionate to the advancement of the indexing system during the movement of the common actuator. In the second embodiment, the device contains an activating mechanism having an indexing system containing the first and second indexers for advancing the first and second medicinal product carriers; and a common actuator for the first and second indexers. The common actuator is movable between the first position and the second position through an intermediate position. The advancement of the first indexer is disproportionate to the advancement of the second indexer.

EFFECT: improvement of an inhalation device suitable for use with one or more medicinal product carriers, which has simple means that allow the patient to move the activating lever or cover without accidentally opening the blisters to expose the medicinal product. Ideally, the lever or lid should be reversible for most of its travel, with the point at which the blister opens close to the end of the activating movement and clearly identifiable by the patient.
