FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to active heat protection of aircraft structure heat-beat elements, aircraft flow control and power plant operation. Proposed method comprises preparation of protective ply composed of methane hydrate decomposition products (mix of steam and methane). The latter are fed via open inlet of gas-jet resonator toward incident flow at pressure in pulse mode at frequency over 100 Hz. Modulation of aerodynamic drag facilitates boundary ply stability nearby aircraft structure protected elements. At absorption of incident flow and front shock wave radiation energy water and methane molecules dissociation and synthesis reaction occur. Methane hydrate decomposition components and products of hydrogen and acetylene synthesis are directed into aircraft power plant combustion chamber.
EFFECT: reduced peak loads at aircraft structure elements, longer life, higher fuel efficiency.
