FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for measurement of level (17) of filling of urea tank (1) by determining a path by means of acoustic waves emitted by sensor (5) and their echo (16), having urea tank bottom (2) and tray (3) with structural depth (9), with that, tray (3) adjoins bottom (2) of the urea tank and is located below level (14) of urea tank bottom (2), and besides, tray (3) is connected in an open way to urea tank (1) and is restricted with tray bottom (4) in a downward direction. With that, sensor (5) is arranged in the area of tray (3), and sensor (5) with sound-emitting surface (6) to emit acoustic waves (15) and to receive echo (16) of those particular acoustic waves is located in urea tank (1) so that sound-emitting surface (6) of the sensor adjoins as much as possible to level (14) of bottom (2) of the urea tank.
EFFECT: signalling of urea level in the motor vehicle tank, economy of structural space and easy installation.
