FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing N-substituted-5-phenyltetrazoles, which includes alkylating 5-phenyltetrazole with alkyl iodide in a methylene chloride-aqueous sodium hydroxide two-phase system at room temperature. According to the invention, the process is carried out in a microreactor without using phase-transfer catalysts and mechanical mixing devices. The invention also relates to a microreactor where the disclosed method of producing N-substituted-5-phenyltetrazoles is carried out.
EFFECT: disclosed method and apparatus reduce power consumption and consumption of additional reactants for producing N-substituted-5-phenyltetrazoles, increase the purity of products, output and regioselectivity of the process, provide optimum droplet size of the dispersion phase and a prolonged process, and enable to maintain stable hydrodynamic process conditions.
