FIELD: weapon and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: fragmentation and particle shell contains a housing with explosive charge and a detonator located outside of the housing on one axis with it the fragmentation part, generating the striking elements, a device for dispersion of striking elements and a contact and trajectory detonator. The housing of the fragmentation part is implemented in the form of multilayered annular set on the axis of which the extended explosive charge is installed. The method of manufacture of fragmentation part of the fragmentation and particle shell consists in that the fragmentation part is manufacture from semi-finished striking elements, annular layers of the fragmentation part are implemented in the form of interfaced cylindrical spirals from metal bar with profiled cross section. At least on one surface, it is preferable on all surfaces, at least of one spiral, preferably on all spirals, cross corrugations are made.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of shell.
