FIELD: weapon and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method of improvement of efficiency of action of the fragmentation and particle shell consists in that the housing of the fragmentation part is fabricated in the form of multilayered annular set on axis of which the extended explosive charge is installed, the quantity of striking elements is increased by preliminary preparation of the housing of the fragmentation part by means of application of longitudinal and cross corrugations, annular layers of the fragmentation part are implemented in the form of cylindrical spirals. Cross section of, at least, one spiral, mainly of all, is profiled. At least, one spiral of annular layer, preferably all, is made with pre-set pitch. In gaps between turns the ready striking elements are installed. The width of the named striking elements is equal to the width of gaps between spiral turns.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of shell.
