FIELD: weapon and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method of providing of pre-set crushing of the fragmentation part of fragmentation and particle shell consists in fabrication of the housing of the fragmentation part in the form of multilayered annular set on the axis of which the extended explosive charge in installed, the quantity of striking elements is increased by preliminary preparation of the housing of the fragmentation part by means of application of longitudinal and cross corrugations, making of annular layers of the fragmentation part in the form of the interfaced cylindrical spirals from metal bar with profiled cross section. At least on one surface, it is preferable on all surfaces, at least of one spiral, preferably on all spirals, cross corrugations are made. At least, one spiral of annular layer, preferably all, is made with pre-set pitch. In gaps between turns the ready striking elements are installed. Overall dimensions of the named elements are selected equal to thickness of the spiral and width of the gap between turns.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of shell.
