FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: nasal sinuses are irrigated with furacilin solution. The irrigation procedure is followed by ultrasonic mask inhalation with 1% placenta hydrolysate 10 ml at a solution temperature of 35°C provided the patient inhales and exhales through nose for 10 minutes. The inhalation is immediately followed by microwave electromagnetic exposure covering an area above a projection of the sinus and generated by a cylindrical emitter of 35 mm in diameter as a part of Luch-4 microwave therapy apparatus. An exposure dose is thermal of a power of 5 W. The exposure contacts the skin of the involved sinus; the procedure length is 5 minutes per the sinus. The procedures are daily, 4 times and followed by the ultrasonic inhalations up to 10 procedures.

EFFECT: functional recovery of the epithelial barrier of the respiratory mucosa by enhancing the local immunity and the evacuation function of the epithelial cells by improving the nasal sinus drainage.
