FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building, namely to test equipment used for fatigue tests. The clamping device contains support parts compressed by screws, between the support parts the specimen is installed, and transient parts located at both sides of the end part of the specimen and having section projecting beyond zone of their contact with the support parts towards the work part of the specimen. The transient parts are made as set of flexible flat plates with bend rigidity lower then bend rigidity of the specimen, length of the projecting areas of the plates in the direct contact with the specimen exceed five its thicknesses, and each of other plates not in contact with the specimen has length lower the length of the previous neighbouring plate, or the projecting area of the transient parts has profile with smoothly variable curvature, at that radius of curvature of the shaped surface of parts in the zone of border of contact with the specimen exceeds radius of curvature of the work part of the specimen during its bending and along the direction of moving off from the zone of contacts with the sample varies from the value that is below the above said radius of specimen, hardness of the surface of the transient parts in zone of smooth curvature change of this surface is below the hardness of the specimen surface, and length of the projecting areas of the transient parts exceeds three thicknesses of the specimen.
EFFECT: assurance of specimen protection against fracture.
