SUBSTANCE: invention relates a data processing device. A first information processing device has a first power mode and a second power mode in which electrical power consumption is less than in the first power mode. A second information processing device is capable of communicating with the first information processing device and an external device via a network. Determination information is received from the first information processing device and the external device. If a packet is received from the external device in the second power mode, the packet is analysed to identify determination information corresponding to the packet. Processing is carried out in accordance with processing information included in the determination information.
EFFECT: high efficiency of controlling power supply by altering register determination information in power saving mode; the data processing device includes first and second information processing devices.
