FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to biochemical clinical recognition techniques, and describes a method for the prediction of the clinical effectiveness in active alcoholic hepatitis, wherein the treatment onset is preceded by measuring patient's blood serum gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGTP) activity and reduced glutathione (GSH) concentration; a , glutathione-gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GγG) ratio is calculated by formula: G γ = Е g g t p C G S H , wherein Eggtp is the gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase activity (mccat/l), whereas CGSH is the reduced glutathione concentration (mmole/l); and if the ratio is more than 7.80, the active clinical course of chronic alcoholic hepatitis is stated, the patient is admitted to hospital urgently and prescribed with an integrated therapy; 10 days from the treatment onset, GγG ratio is measured once again, and if it tends to decrease to 1.72, the antioxidant system function is considered to be normalising, whereas the hepatic cell death occurs to decrease that enables continuing the treatment in the outpatient setting; if GγG ratio is more than 1.72, the treatment is supposed to be continues in the hospital environment with the clinical and laboratory parameters to be controlled strictly.

EFFECT: invention provides increasing the assessment specificity, planning the intensity and length of the therapeutic course.
