FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing of a composite superconducting wire based on the NB3Sn composition, which includes the receipt of bronze cast tubular billets and/or bar stocks in the oven of continuous casting of tin bronze with the tin content of 12-17 wt %, their diffusion annealing at a temperature of 500-750°C, formation of the first composite billet by the placement into a cover of Cu-Sn alloy of bars of Cu-Sn alloy and niobium bars cut into the certain length and etched, further vacuum degassing and welding-up, extrusion of the first composite billet by the press at the container and matrix heating temperature of 350-500°C with the receipt of a composite bar out of the first composite billet, deformation of the composite bar out of the first composite billet at rolling or drawing mills with the speed less than 20 m/min with intermediate annealing in the oven at a temperature of 400-550°C in a nonoxidising atmosphere to eliminate cold working upon deformation up to 5-50% with the receipt of the composite bars of a circular or hexagonal section, formation of the second composite billet by the placement of bars cut into the certain length and etched into a cover of high-pure copper with the diffusion barrier of niobium with tantalum inserts placed inside the above cover, further vacuum degassing and welding-up, extrusion of the second composite billet by the press at the container and matrix heating temperature of 350-500°C with the receipt of a composite bar out of the second composite billet, deformation of the composite bar out of the second composite billet at rolling or drawing mills with the speed less than 20 m/min with intermediate annealing in the oven at a temperature of 400-550°C in a nonoxidising atmosphere to eliminate cold working upon deformation up to 5-50% with the receipt of the composite wire with the required cross-section and its diffusion annealing up to the receipt of the superconducting composite of Nb3Sn at 550-700°C during 100-600 hours.
EFFECT: simplified method for manufacturing of the composite superconducting wire based on the Nb3Sn composite, simplified production line for its manufacturing by the reduction of technological conversion, labour intensity of the process and quantity of wastes generated in the production process, exclusion of destruction both for bronze elements and composite wire in the process of deformation.
