SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of O-imino-isourea compounds of general formula (I) and salts thereof as a radical source, particularly as polymerisation initiators. In formula
n is 1, 2, 3 or 4; R100 and R101 are independently hydrogen (H), C1-18 alkyl, C3-C12 cycloalkyl, C6-C14 aryl, or R100 and R101 together with the carbon atom with which they are bonded form a monocyclic C3-C18 carbocyclic ring; R102 and R103 are independently C1-C18 alkyl, C3-C12 cycloalkyl, C6-C14 aryl, C6-C14 aryl, once or multiple times substituted with C1-C18 alkyl; R104, if n equals 1, is H, C1-C18 alkyl or acyl, selected from a group consisting of the following acyls: -C(=O)-H, -C(=O)-C1-C18alkyl, -C(=O)-C6-C14aryl, -C(=O)-O-C1-C18alkyl and -C(=O)-NH-C6-C14aryl; R104, if n is greater than 1, denotes diacyls, triacyls or tetraacyls.
EFFECT: invention relates to novel O-imino-isourea compounds, compositions for radical polymerisation using O-imino-isourea compound, a method of producing an oligomer, a co-oligomer, a polymer or copolymer in free-radical polymerisation conditions and use of O-imino-isourea compounds to produce a coating.
