FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device for determining blood clotting time comprises a blood sample carrier, two metal measuring electrodes mounted within a blood sample section and electrically contacting to the sample, a resistance transducer to electrical signal connected to the above electrodes. The device also comprises a time counter, an output of which is connected to a display, a logic unit, a pulse detector and a calculator of a second derivative of the electrical signal supplied from the output of the resistance transducer to electrical signal supplied to an input of the calculator and an input of the logic unit. An output of the calculator of the second derivative is connected through the pulse detector to a second output of the logic unit, an output of which is connected to the time counter.

EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
