FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method exploits the distribution of pixel data. It comprises the steps that follow. Input vide frame and both extra reference video frames are represented a low-frequency pyramids (LFP). Rough approximation of pixel data is calculated by setting of dense pixel compliance between pixels of the most rough levels of input video frame and supplement reference video frames and pixel data is calculated for the most rough level of LFP set at current step. The following steps for every LFP level except for the most rough one are executed. Pixel data current LFP level video frame is supplemented with data from previous pyramid level scaled with increase to pyramid current level. Appropriate pixel data is generated for current LFP level by setting the dense pixel compliance between supplemented video frames for pyramid current level. Pixel data is calculated with the use of compliance set at current step and output of pixel data obtained at said step. Obtained data is subjected to postprocessing.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of video frames supplement.
