FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to design of vacuum relay intended for switching without load of high-voltage power circuits. According to the invention in vacuum relay a movable contact is fixed rigidly to core of electromagnetic drive into a common lever movable without friction and free play, while position of permanent magnet and its field counteracts pressure of atmospheric pressure to a flexible element separating air and vacuum by exercising effect on the core. Magnetic field value is regulated by a certain ratio of the core length and cross-section of permanent magnet in direction of the core stroke as well as by selection of parameters for magnetic circuit of permanent magnet.
EFFECT: improved reliability, resistance to wear, operational speed of the relay and reduced power of its control.
