FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: agent for prevention of mastitis in cows during lactation period comprises, as probiotic bacteria for treatment of dugs after milking, the probiotic strains of Bacillus subtilis - B-5225 (1×108) 4 wt %, Enterococcus faecium STF 1/56 (1×108) 4 wt %, glycerol (2 wt %) and sterile water 90%.
EFFECT: invention enables to eliminate the use of chemotherapeutic agents, antibiotics and their derivatives, as well as sulphonamides and nitrofurans and to increase preventive effectiveness against mastitis.
