SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for reducing the incidence of mastitis in productive dairy animals, involving treatment of livestock premises with a complex biological preparation "ProSoft" containing a symbiotic consortium of microorganisms of probiotic action, which is sprayed through a fog generator, backpacks or other irrigation systems at rate of 20-30 ml per 1 m² of the livestock building with maintenance of the required exposure for the suppression of at least 70% of the precursors or pathogens in the presence of animals or without them, frequency of treatment of premises is 1 time in 7 days in the first month from the beginning of season with further increase of treatment intervals up to 1 time in 14 days.

EFFECT: invention provides reduction of morbidity and level of inflammatory processes in dairy animals in their housing.
