FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ion exchange and can be used for recovering indium from solutions and producing high-purity substances. There are presented two versions of a method for producing a complex-forming sorbent. The method involves administering hem-diphosphonic functional groups in a macroporous copolymer. The sphere-granulated cross-linked macroporous acrylonitrile/divinylbenzene copolymer is processed with dried phosphorous acid. The processing is performed in a melt at 140-160°C or in a benzene chloride solution at 100-130°C.
EFFECT: increasing the sorbent capacity and selectivity in relation to indium.
