FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method is suggested for production of tubular ceramic structures with out-of-round cross-section, that contains application of ceramic creating composition on the external surface of the mandrel of the rotating assembly (45) if the spindle-mandrel with out-of-round cross-section corresponding to out-of-round internal cross-section of the tubular ceramic structure. Assembly of the spindle-mandrel contains spindle, on its surface a mandrel is located in form of heat-shrinking polymer tube. After the ceramic tube forming the spindle (43) is removed from the mandrel (47) hole. Internal surface of the tubular ceramic structure with out-of-round cross-section stays in contact with the external surface of the mandrel (47). Heat shrinkage of the mandrel (47) is performed in assembly contains the mandrel and tubular ceramic structure for mandrel (47) crimping and separation of the external surface of the mandrel from the internal surface of the ceramic structure.

EFFECT: possibility to manufacture the ceramic tubes with thin walls of equal thickness.
