FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: continuous equal channel angular pressing is performed by three successive stages, after each stage direction of the blank material flow is changed by angle Φ=90-120°, then the final plastic formation of the rod is performed. Significant improvement of the material mechanical properties is ensured due to combination of the intensive plastic deformation by several stages and plastic formation, thus ensuring accumulation of the actual deformation degree e ≥ 2.4.
EFFECT: combination of several treatment stages under conditions of the intensive plastic deformation reduces the production cycle and results in decreasing of the power consumption due to exclusion of the re-heating operations prior to treatment.
