FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at manufacturing of semi-finished products or products from metallic materials by means of deformative treatment, accompanied by changing of physical-mechanical properties of metal ensured by formation of ultra-fine-grained structure. Direct and equi-channel angular compressing are combined into one operation. Direct compressing is implemented through calibrating area. Direct angular compressing is implemented in intersection channels of bottom matrix. It is used combined matrix. Cavity of matrix is implemented as nonaxisymmetric. Bottom part of matrix is installed with ability of rotation relative to longitudinal axis of top part of matrix.
EFFECT: increasing of functional capabilities, providing straining of piece part component with required deformation ratio and formation of ultra close-grained structure per one operation.
