FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: spacecraft nose cone houses payload and comprises adapter compartment and head cowling interconnected in vertical position. Proposed process comprises connection of head cowling flap in vertical position along lengthwise butts and dismantling of temporary spacers. Before assembly, nose cone flaps are equipped with semi-rings fitted over outer cylindrical surface and temporary spacers over flap lower frame on the side of its end face. Prior to fitting of the flap at adapter compartment upper frame, temporary preventer stops are secured thereat to be removed before installation of the next flap. Firs flap is fitted at adapter compartment upper frame is performed via temporary spacers. Second flap is fed to fitted flap with clearance to interaction of semi-ring guides, semi-rings are coupled by tighteners and upper parts of the flaps to be coupled by means of detachable appliances. Then, said flaps are secured by means of locks of node cone lengthwise joint, nose cone is connected with adapter compartment upper frame and nose cone is secured to adapter compartment upper frame with the help of crosswise joint locks.
EFFECT: higher reliability, enhanced performances.
