METHOD OF OBTAINING TITANIUM ZEOLITE-BASED CATALYST Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC B01J29/89 B01J29/06 C07D301/02

Abstract RU 2561100 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining catalyst for propylene epoxidation, where said catalyst contains titanium zeolite and carbonaceous material in amount from 0.01 to 0.1 wt % of the total weight of titanium zeolite, contained in catalyst. Method includes (i) obtaining titanium zeolite-containing catalyst, (ii) precipitation of carbonaceous material on catalyst according to (i) in amount from 0.01 to 0.1 wt % of the total weight of titanium zeolite, contained in catalyst, by contact of said catalyst, before application of catalyst in said reaction of propylene epoxidation, with fluid, containing at least one hydrocarbon in inert atmosphere at higher temperature, with obtaining catalyst, which contains carbonaceous material. A stage (ii) catalyst does not contact with oxygen-containing gas, and after stage (ii) catalyst is not subjected to additional stage of thermal processing, where catalyst is processed with inert gas at high temperatures above 300°C. Invention also relates to catalyst, obtained by claimed method, and to application of said catalyst in method of propylene epoxidation.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain catalyst, used in reaction of propylene epoxidation, which provides highly-selective conversion with preservation of high activity, as well as possesses improved service term characteristics.
