FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to electric engineering and may be used for anodic earthing of cathode protection units from the corrosion of steel and reinforce concrete steel structures contacting soil, river and sea water and other electrolytic means. An anode earthing electrode comprises a body 1 made as a shell of a thin (thickness of 0.1-0.4 mm) galvanised steel sheet. The central electrode 3 is made of graphite-reinforced plastics and surrounded by an activating material 2 shaped as a cylinder and based on a compound of an electroconductive, granulated porous loose material, and graphite chips with the size of 10-15 mm are used as the above material.
EFFECT: invention allows an increase of service life for the anode earthing electrode, reduced rate and increased uniformity of electrode solution.
