FIELD: protection of underground constructions and pipelines from electrochemical corrosion. SUBSTANCE: buried earthing anodic electrode is made in the form of chain comprising separate prefabricated anodic earthing electrodes electrically and mechanically connected with one another. Each of earthing electrode has central electrode provided with metal members formed as elongated plates attached to central electrode and extending along electrode guides. Earthing electrode is surrounded with activator layer formed as cylinder made from basic compound of current-conductive granular porous bulk material, with mixture of said material comprising fractions of particles selected by weight part and size, and thermoplastic binder. Each earthing electrode is connected with previous and subsequent electrodes to form single current conductor and core having uniform strength along the entire length thereof. Gaps between ends of adjacent activator cylinders are filled with activator. EFFECT: reduced metal usage, enhanced reliability in operation, prolonged service life and reduced costs of mounting works. 2 dwg
