FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of battens. Proposed process comprises making of the panel (2). Curing or surface removing substance is printed on panel (2) in compliance with preselected patter to produce raised sections on said panel (2) or to remove the surface portion in compliance with said pattern. Note here that said curing or surface removing substance is printed on panel (2) with preliminary application of fluid thereon in compliance with preset pattern and adding the auxiliary substance to fluid. Note also that auxiliary substance or fluid along with auxiliary substance make the curing of surface removing substance. Solidification of curing substance of removal of any reaction products of panel and surface removing substance to get the batten.

EFFECT: new and flexible application of bulged patterns on batten.
