FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring the state of hive weight comprises an apiary controller consisting of a beekeeper computer (PC), a receiving unit, an analysing unit, a distribution unit, a graphic unit to show the data obtained, and a microcontroller of the hive. The microcontroller of the hive comprises a processor unit, a memory unit and a communication unit, a measuring device mounted in the hive, and wireless data transfer channel from the hive microcontroller to the apiary controller. The measuring device is used as strain gauges connected to the hive microcontroller, and the hive is provided with a box, where on the bottom the hive microcontroller with strain gauges are mounted, and the hive is located on top. The box has a size greater than the hive, for possible formation of an air layer, and between the hive and the box the plugs are mounted on top to ensure the natural thermoregulation. The wireless data transfer channel is used as Bluetooth module.

EFFECT: increase in accuracy of measuring the hive weight, increase in the measurement rate.
