FIELD: agriculture; beekeeping.
SUBSTANCE: device for remote monitoring of beehives using the Internet of things comprises an apiary controller, a beekeeper media device in the form of a personal computer or a telephone receiving unit, an analyzing unit, a distribution unit, a graphic unit for displaying the obtained data and a microcontroller of a beehive with holes for thermal control, comprising a processor unit, a memory unit and a communication unit, a wireless data transmission channel of the device to an apiary controller and a power supply unit. Device uses the Internet of things technology, which controls the state of the beehive, multifunctional temperature and humidity sensors connected to the beehive microcontroller. Above the holes for thermal control and notches there are automated gates for closing or opening of hives during attack of bees, changing weather conditions, chemical treatment. Above the notches there are also installed optical devices for analyzing the state of bees, and inside the beehive on the side walls there are temperature and humidity regulators and a propolis collection device, made in the form of a frame with electrodes located in it, which are equipped with removable dielectric insulation in the form of a solid cloth and congruent to the contour of electrodes connected to a voltage source. At the same time electrodes are fixed in parallel, have profile of equilateral triangle with ratio of length of rib to distance between electrodes 1:2. Internet module is used as wireless data transmission channel and solar battery connected to power supply unit is installed on hive cover.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of the device and improving the quality of ecological living conditions of bee families.
