FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to the method of fabrication of nickel strip from several, at least, actually integral cathodic sheets. The method of fabrication of nickel strip from cathodic sheets is characterized by that the strip is fabricated by separate hot rolling of sheets which are joined into a strip, or by hot rolling of the strip after joining of single sheets. The initial cathodic sheets before hot rolling have the following composition: Ni≥99,94 wt %, C<35 wt. ppm, S<5 wt. ppm, Mn<14 wt. ppm, Mg<11 wt. ppm, Al<7 wt. ppm, Ti<25 wt. ppm, Si<15 wt. ppm.

EFFECT: fabricated strip has uniform thickness, plastically deformed without breaking off of oxidic layer.
