FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: floatation method of kyanite from the ores includes pre-floatation of the sulphides by xanthogenate and the kyanite floatation in acid environment. The pre-floatation of the sulphides is combined with the graphite floatation, it is performed by xanthogenate upon presence of the methyl isobutyl carbinol. The kyanite floatation is performed without the preliminary deslurrying.
EFFECT: increased quality of the concentrate, and reduced losses of alumina with process wastes.
