FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: transportation container includes cryogenic refrigeration system for cryogenic in-transit cooling of superconducting magnet which system monitors temperature and/or pressure in superconducting magnet and performs circulation of refrigerant in superconducting magnet to maintain cryogenic temperatures in superconducting coils, and electric power infeed which is accessible from outside of transportation container. The infeed connects refrigeration system with external power source installed on a vehicle. Method for superconducting magnet transportation includes superconducting magnet fastening in transportation container, connecting cooling head of each device with cryogenic refrigeration system, transportation container loading, electric power infeed connecting with external power source of vehicle.
EFFECT: long-term storage of cryogenic device with low losses or without losses of freezing mixture.
