FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: in application a pack for smoking articles is described, having a cover (9) and a housing (2) formed of the thickness having material. The cover has a front wall (13) with a lower edge of the front wall and a valve (17) attached to a part of this lower edge of the front wall in the fold line (17a), formed by partial cutoff through the thickness of the material so that when the valve is folded about the said fold line and lies on the inner surface of the front wall of the cover, this part of the lower edge of the front wall, which is attached to the valve, serves as continuation of the rest of the lower edge of the front wall.
EFFECT: improvement of design.
