FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: package for smoking articles comprises a compartment in the form of parallelepiped to accommodate a row or rows of smoking articles. The compartment has an opening at the upper end through which the smoking articles can be extracted along the direction parallel to their longitudinal axes. The abovementioned package also comprises a rotary valve located inside the lower end of the compartment, which when rotated comes in contact with the ends of smoking articles and pushes the smoking articles through the opening. The package may also include a second compartment pivotally connected to the first compartment at the lower ends. And each compartment has a rotary valve which comes into another compartment and is fixed there so that the relative rotation of the compartments causes rotation of two valves to lift smoking articles. In the alternative version, the rotary valves can be integrated with other compartments.

EFFECT: creating a package for smoking articles comprising a unit for pushing the smoking articles from the package to facilitate the pushing of the first article.
