FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to main pipelines and can be used for repair of buried pipelines laid in water-logged sections without preparatory works including pear reclamation, land filling and water diversion. Prior to soil excavation pipeline axis and occurrence depth are defined. Expected pit sizes are selected depending on pipeline diameter and digger working tools overall dimensions. Piles made of welded pipe segments are driven over periphery of said pit. Soil is excavated by digger displaced in operation over flooring displaced around developed pit by digger proper. Pit is made at depression bottom to allow pumping of ground waters to maintain their required level.
EFFECT: expanded range of hardware.
