FIELD: pipelining.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for uncovering pipelines laid in bog grounds, repair of trenches on water-bearing grounds, digging and cleaning irrigation and drainage channels. Proposed trenching machine has pontoon and working set in form of back shovel or its working equipment mounted on pontoon. Pontoon is made in form of catamaran to which two rockers are connected set into operation by power cylinders and carrying self-aligning support feet. Back shovel is pointed in direction of movement. Hinge joints of rockers of self-aligning support feet are connected to upper wall of pontoon so that self-aligning feet come in contact with trench edge when rockers move downwards. Rocker to protect pipeline is installed on front part of pontoon. Said rocker is provided with two cheeks positioned at both sides of pipeline when rocker is lowered. Two pairs of guide pins adjustable in height are installed in pontoon at both sides of pipeline.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of trenching machine.
