FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: mesh filter for cleaning of viscous oil products from solid residue of oil fractions and mechanical impurities includes a vertical cylindrical housing with an elliptical head and a cover plate, which is provided with nozzles, with a cylindrical filter element from mesh wire, which is arranged in the housing. In the housing below the cover plate and above the elliptical head there installed rings on the inside diameters of which the cylindrical filter element is fixed; space between the cylindrical filter element, the housing and the rings forms a receiving chamber; a viscous oil product inlet nozzle is arranged in the housing in the upper part of the receiving chamber; a viscous oil product outlet nozzle is arranged in the housing below the receiving chamber; a condensate outlet nozzle is arranged in the housing in the lower part of the receiving chamber; a housing emptying nozzle is arranged in the elliptical head; a steam supply nozzle connected to a perforated tube routed along the housing axis from the head to the cover plate is arranged in the centre of the elliptical head; an air vent nozzle is arranged in the cover plate. Ratio of diameter of the cylindrical filter element to diameter of the housing is 0.6, ratio of the inner volume of the cylindrical filter element to volume of the receiving chamber is 0.3, ratio of volume of the cylindrical filter element to volume of the housing under the cylindrical filter element is 0.64.

EFFECT: increasing cleaning degree of viscous oil products from solid residue of oil fractions and mechanical impurities.
