FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely to preparation of sideritic iron ores for processing and reprocessing of prepared sideritic iron ores for use in blast-furnace smelting. At preparation of initial ore it is crushed, sieved, decarbonised by heating and conditioning. The prepared ore is separated into iron ore concentrate and dead rock. For ore separation water is added and a pulp is prepared which is effected by acid for leaching of magnesium and calcium oxides. The formed solution is separated from the deposit which is washed out and dried with obtaining from it of iron ore concentrate, and from solution by adding of limy or dolomitic milk the magnesium hydroxide is settled which then dried and calcinated with obtaining of magnesite concentrate. The acid is regenerated by adding to the solution of sulphuric acid, and the escaped calcium sulphate is washed out and dried with obtaining of commodity plaster, and the regenerated acid is reused for pulp leaching.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining of high-quality iron ore concentrate, and also magnesite concentrate and construction plaster at decrease of energy consumption.
