FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology and agriculture. To detoxify soil contaminated by petroleum products, the sorbent is added to it, to achieve a predetermined concentration of the pollutant in the soil. Before the sorbent is added into the soil, the pollutant concentration is measured in mixing the samples of the contaminated soil with the sorbent. Then the mass of the sorbent is determined, required for mixing with the soil and to achieve in the soil of the predetermined concentration of the pollutant. Then, the calculated mass of the sorbent is distributed over the surface of the soil while mixing the sorbent with the contaminated soil. The foamed gypsum is used as the sorbent.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of detoxification of contaminated soil and reduction of the sorbent consumption.
