FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: plug is made to seal at least pipe edge subjected to corrosion. The plug has internal lid with internal sleeve made for contact with the pipe internal surface, the sleeve has a protecting element at least provided for partial coverage of the pipe internal cross-section not covered by the internal sleeve. The protecting element completely fills the clear cross-section of the internal lid, and is made in form of the membrane opened for diffusion. The plug can be provided with information carrier made with possibility of noncontact sensing and/or noncontact recording. Besides, the invention relates to the pipe with the appropriate plug.
EFFECT: pipes protection against contamination, corrosion, possibility of remote pipe identification among other pipes.
