FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: scalp is incised within the temple at 2-4 cm from the hairline. A rotary or free temporal fascia graft is cut out, moved and/or placed onto a defect area in a prepared subcutaneous bed so as to make it symmetrical to a paired side of the orbital region and/or face surrounding areas. The graft is fixed by U-sutures and compression plates as follows: each U-suture is delivered through the skin, through the graft, underlying or surrounding tissues, through the graft again and brought out through the skin; further, both ends of the U-suture are delivered through openings of the flat viscoelastic compression plate and tied above the plate; the above manipulations are performed in the entire defect area. The method implies using at least two compression plates.
EFFECT: method enables avoiding a wide skin scar in the donor area and providing a symmetrical arrangement.
