FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: device contains a laser transmitter, a receiver of radiation reflected by an object, series connected multichannel storage, linked with a clock generator, and a hazemeter. The receiver output comprises a switch the first output of which is connected to the input of the multichannel store, and at the second output of the switch has series connected temporary latching unit and the interpolation unit connected with the clock generator, and the control input of the switch is connected to the onboard flight control system of the aircraft.

EFFECT: providing of the aircraft onboard measurements of its altitude and vertical component of speed both during stationary flight, and during take off and landing in a wide range of altitudes and the modes of ascent and descent.
