FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to regenerating absorbers of acid gases containing amine and thermally stable salts. The method consists in mixing an absorber of acid gases with an alkali solution to form a mixture having a pH exceeding a pH equivalence point of amine. The mixture is cooled to a temperature of less than 50°C. The mixture is then divided on the regenerated absorber of acid gases and a waste flow. The regenerated absorber recovered from the waste flow is collected to be re-useable. The absorber of acid gases represents an aqueous amine dissolver, preferentially a diamine solution.
EFFECT: effective removal of the high concentrations of thermally stable salts from the absorber with the use of a minimum quantity of the equipment and low absorber loss.
