SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vaned drill bit for rotary drilling. Drill bit for rotary drilling comprises body, leg with surface edge, bearing shaft extending beyond said leg and cone fitted on bearing shaft. It incorporates at least the preformed carbide insert. The latter includes the edge and bottom surface and binder to bind insert bottom surface to, in fact, appropriate leg surface. Note here that insert edge confines, at least, the leg surface portion.
EFFECT: protection of drill bit leg shirt tail edge.
