SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. A method of securely transferring subscription information and user data from a first terminal, having a first universal integrated circuit card (UICC), to a second terminal, having a second UICC, wherein the subscription information includes an identifier stored in the first UICC, said method comprising transmitting an identifier of the second terminal to the said terminal; transmitting from said first terminal to a remote secure vault, which stores a subscription installation public key of said second terminal, said identifier of said second terminal and an identifier of said first UICC; transmitting from said remote secure vault to said first terminal the subscription installation public key; in said first UICC, packaging and encrypting said subscription information and user data with said subscription public installation key; transmitting said packaged and encrypted subscription information and user data to said second UICC of said second terminal; installing said subscription information and user data on said second UICC.
EFFECT: enabling transfer of subscriptions remotely without passing through an OTA server.
