SUBSTANCE: contact lens comprises a central area, an iris area surrounding the central area, a peripheral area surrounding the iris area, a rotational stability element, a horizontal bisector line extending from one margin of the lens through the centre of a pupil portion to the other margin of the lens horizontal direction, a vertical bisector line extending from one margin of the lens to the other margin of the lens in the vertical direction, and a shaded cosmetic pattern above the horizontal bisector line. The shaded cosmetic pattern is arranged within the iris area and asymmetrical about the vertical bisector line.
EFFECT: providing the shadow effect thrown by an upper lid.
