SUBSTANCE: cosmetic contact lens comprising: an annular layer of a transparent coating formed from the first material, one or more layers to create an effect; and a main lens volume material covering and surrounding both the annular layer of the transparent coating and one or more layers to create an effect. The annular layer of the transparent coating comprises the first annular part, a transition part, and an opening in the optical zone. The transition part has a smaller thickness at the aperture and a greater thickness at the first annular part.
EFFECT: application of this invention will improve the appearance of the eye.
